Rooted & Alive
An Enneagram-Informed Leadership Retreat for Women Who Lead — and Are Ready to Feel Like Themselves Again
Sonoma, California - September 11-13, 2026
There are some experiences that you can’t have online.
Stress rises, and instead of abandoning yourself, you stay.
Your voice slows.
Your body steadies.
You don’t absorb everyone else’s urgency.
Imagine ambition that feels alive in your body instead of heavy on your chest.
Imagine power without hardening.
That is what it means to be rooted and alive.
Imagine walking into a high-stakes conversation and actually feeling your feet on the ground.

What They’re Saying About Nevada and Emma
“The combination of research and knowledge sharing, together with deep body and heart-led inquiry, was the perfect combination for both my body and brain. I'm leaving with a map for where I want ME to be when I come through the other side, and the added bonus of a group of women I know I can lean on when I need a reminder or a gust in my sails.”
Lindsay
“When I turned 40, I felt the disappointment of not achieving some life goals, and exhaustion from the success I had achieved. I actually asked myself, “What is the purpose of my life now? What is my Plan B?” If only I had had this circle back then! Instead of trying to figure it all out alone, I would have so appreciated the wisdom, insight, camaraderie, and creative practices this program offered.”
Kim
“The Midlife Wisdom Circle has been exactly what I needed during a time in my life when I have been struggling with carrying too much and needing to make space to find myself again. Since participating, I've been able to make big decisions and shift my time and energy towards my own needs and devotions which has helped bring me peace and strengthen my relationships with those I love.”
Hillary
“I am walking through the world differently and more intentionally now. I was definitely lost when I started this eight weeks, and now I'm on a positive path.”
Cam
“It’s been such a gift to have the time to land on something so simple and powerful as my midlife north star and now it’s all happening with such energy and flow.”
Adriana
“I approached the Enneagram with skepticism, but it brought unbelievable awareness and truths that gave me a framework and permission to think and act differently. It was hugely revelatory.”
Wendy
“I’ve regained the light and radiance of my younger self.”
Lindsey
Who This Is For
Women who:
Lead teams in corporate, biotech, or tech environments
Carry visible and invisible responsibility
Are capable, respected, and quietly tired of over-bracing
Want to stay powerful without hardening
Crave meaningful connection with other thoughtful leaders
You don’t need more leadership theory.
You need space to notice what happens inside you when the pressure hits.
Using the Enneagram as our map, we’ll explore:
• The patterns you developed to succeed
• What pulls you below the line under stress
• How that impacts your team — and your nervous system
• The deeper strengths of your type when you’re grounded
When you’re below the line, you might over-function, over-control, or over-accommodate.
When you’re above the line, something shifts.
You breathe.
You choose.
You trust your timing.
You respond.
The world needs more women leading from that place.
Meet Your Guides: Nevada and Emma
Nevada Lane
As a certified coach and the founder of Lane Change Consulting, Nevada helps humans connect with their authentic selves while also accessing the tools they need to translate insight into action.
Having grown up at the San Francisco Zen Center and built a successful international career in team development and graphic facilitation, her approach is grounded in bridging both being and doing, reflection and momentum.
Nevada is known for her leadership in visual strategy, expert facilitation, and individual and team coaching, with a particular interest in coaching creative leaders throughout midlife transitions. Her own midlife transition was a tumultuous 3 years of searching for answers to her own deep sense of frustration and resentment. The gifts of that time have been a revitalization of her 25-year-marriage (which she calls Marriage 2.0), a deep connection to her own intuition and spirituality, a peaceful relationship with her body and food, and a community of soul sisters who inspire her daily.
As a dedicated student and practitioner of the Enneagram (she’s a type 3), mother of two fabulous young adults (ages 20 and 18), and a proud woman business owner, Nevada’s mission is to leave people feeling more alive, more connected, and more prepared to make a purposeful difference in the world.
